The new Sykov pistols have been causing problems for being extremely powerful since their Call of Duty: Warzone appearance. While Call of Duty: Warzone has gone through several weapons balancing patches, the game still continues to have a fluctuating meta. With the Sykov pistol thrown in the mix, weapon balance is almost nonexistent as players rip through their enemies with these powerful side-arms.

The Sykov pistols appeared in Call of Duty: Warzone on April 15. Since their debut, they have become the latest in overpowered weaponry due to their rate of fire and large magazine size. Many fans believe that the pistols are worse than the DMR meta, but Dr Disrespect believes he has a solution to the problem.

After Dr Disrespect got his chance at the new pistols, he was almost immediately impressed with their power. Like many other Call of Duty: Warzone content creators, he called them broken and claimed that they needed a nerf. After playing a few rounds, he commented that it felt like a limited-time mode, and he started to ask whether or not the problem is the pistols. At this point, Dr Disrespect believes that the player's health and shield may be a tuning to stop OP weapons. While the Sykov is only the latest problem in the game, it is only a matter of time before a new gun reigns supreme in the battle royale game.

This is not the first time that player stats have been brought up in a Call of Duty: Warzone meta discussion. Many players believe that using extra plates outside of the three-plate limitation might help combat frustration regarding powerful weapons. The main issue is that players die faster than they can respond, and this makes each new meta particularly impactful on the game's community.

Call of Duty: Warzone damage has always been lethal, with previous meta favoring short TTK times and increased damage thresholds. By adjusting the meta on the player side of things, fans could have more defenses against the ongoing assault of weapons without balancing the guns themselves.

Dr Disrespect has a history that involves developing Call of Duty games, and this makes him rather astute at suggesting changes. While he does have his signature rage, distractable attention span, and other character flaws, it is not surprising that buried under his persona is a sharp developer. While adjusting player health may not solve all the problems, it is at least a start in the right direction.

Call Of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
