Of all the recurring Call of Duty: Warzone glitches, it is the demon texture bug that may be the most prevalent. While the Stim glitch seems to have died with the removal of Verdansk, Call of Duty: Warzone fans have been encountering some new forms of the bug within Caldera.

For those lucky enough to have not seen the demon texture bug in their games, the glitch in question got its start by transforming Call of Duty: Warzone weapons into pointy black objects. If weaponry is transformed, gamers are pretty much hopeless when it comes to using it, as the textures look nothing like a gun and can cover the entire screen. The demon texture glitch has evolved in recent weeks, however, something shown by the transformation of a house.

Not only are Call of Duty: Warzone players being transformed into demons, or massive black blobs, but it seems like certain houses are as well. A clip from Reddit user BigTex shows the player exploring the Caldera Capital City region. Specifically, they go near the water where some houses are, only to come across one particular house that looks different from the others. For whatever reason, the demon texture bug has chosen to alter this house, making it stand out from all the others on the map.

The Call of Duty: Warzone clip starts with the player simply being in awe of what they are seeing, as the porch of the house is covered in jagged black edges. These pointy textures extend all the way around the house, changing size and shape just like the demon textures are known to do. Some extend up over the roof briefly, meaning that the bug is impossible not to notice for anyone that comes near the area. The brave player even steps inside the house, not being intimidated by the strange exterior or simply valuing loot too much to not take the risk.

While they have their MP-40 SMG ready when they step into the home, they do not end up needing it. Not only are there no enemies camping inside the building, but the demon textures are not present for the most part. Only a few clip through floors and walls, as they are largely kept outside - though it is a bit strange seeing windows covered by complete blackness. Thus far, the post has almost 200 upvotes, so players are either interested by the video or annoyed by the bug. Some commenters have jokingly compared it to the movie Monster House or the Venom Symbiote from Marvel comics.

While Raven Software has its hands full with Call of Duty: Warzone issues, the demon textures are becoming very common sights. As such, hopefully a fix for them comes soon.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
