Call of Duty: Warzone has tons of different players, each with their own custom settings, controllers, and other input devices that can give them a competitive edge. While most players are using the standard keyboard and mouse or controller setups, there are other fans who prefer alternative means. While it may look like a disadvantage, these clever players are finding their own ways to win in Call of Duty: Warzone.

When using something other keyboard and mouse or controllers, every kill is a victory. Call of Duty: Warzone can be a tactically challenging endeavor, and alternative controller methods can lead to missed shots and slower reaction times. Still, that has not stopped this dedicated streamer from scoring a win in Call of Duty: Warzone's Gulag and making their way back to the battlefield.

Call of Duty: Warzone streamer DeanoBeano hit a surge of popularity after he posted a video of himself playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with the drums. Now in an effort to outperform his last stunt, he has created another musical keybinding by combining Call of Duty: Warzone with the varying notes of a recorder. The streamer has had mixed results thus far, but a recent clip has been circulating of him winning a Gulag battle with nothing but his musical know-how.

His Gulag victory comes after roughly 90 minutes of failure. From instant defeat, close calls, and the occasional lucky kill, the streamer has achieved what many consider impossible in Call of Duty: Warzone. If it were not for his alternative set up, this would not be nearly the accomplishment that his community loves him for.

Varying sites, fans, and social media users are astounded by his simple set up yet effective kill. Call of Duty: Warzone streamer Deano runs a program in the background of his game that maps notes and relays them as inputs to the game. By simply playing his recorder, he can strafe, pan the camera, ADS, and shoot.

This is not DeanoBeano's first wacky input, as he has previously used a drumset with some rather astounding success. He has also been seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War using a pair of Donkey Kong Jungle Beat bongos performing the impossible across several titles. Still, despite his impossible controller choices, he manages to score some kills and occasionally win games using nothing but instruments and a high level of patience.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
