Call of Duty: Warzone is kicking off Season 4 on Wednesday, June 3, and fans are expecting it to come with some big changes to the battle royale map. Infinity Ward and Activision have remained tight-lipped about what kind of changes Warzone may see in Season 4, but dataminers have found evidence that it could include the destruction of the map's large Dam location.

While fans should take this with a grain of salt, it seems some dataminers have found evidence in the Call of Duty: Warzone update files that point to the destruction of Dam via missiles. This will reportedly cause sections of the Warzone battle royale map to flood, and could dramatically change the appearance of the map overall. Something similar happened in Black Ops 4 Blackout battle royale, so it wouldn't be entirely out of the question for it to happen in Warzone as well.

This is far from the first time that fans have thought that the Call of Duty: Warzone Dam could potentially be destroyed. Images within Warzone itself shows water flowing through the dam, indicating that the dam itself has been partially destroyed or at the very least, the ice surrounding it has melted. Of course, it's possible that this is all a diversion and something else entirely will happen to the Warzone map with Season 4, so fans should keep that in mind as well.

It's believed that the Warzone Season 4 map changes will include some marketing for the upcoming Black Ops Cold War, which leaked a couple of weeks ago. Since Warzone will be a constant for Call of Duty games moving forward, it would make sense for the battle royale to include some connection to Black Ops Cold War, and other datamined evidence suggests that such a crossover is taking place.

Dataminers have found evidence that the RC-XD from Black Ops is coming to Warzone, as is a Cold War-era spy plane. Whether or not these items have anything to do with the Warzone Dam being destroyed remains to be seen, but it's possible.

It's also unclear if the mysterious Bunker 11 will have anything to do with Dam's destruction, especially since there's a nuke inside of it. Warzone fans will just need to wait for the Season 4 premiere on June 3 to be sure.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
