Call of Duty: Warzone fans were super excited when the crossbow was added to the popular battle royale. Although not a broken weapon in the mode, players love the silent and deadly nature of the crossbow.

There is a community of Call of Duty players that love using the unconventional weapon in online matches. One crossbow fan decided to take some potshots at a crazy distance while playing in Call of Duty: Warzone. With no expectation of the shots landing, he turned to leave when something amazing happened.

The video posted to Reddit shows user GamerKrazyKai aiming at a helicopter far in the distance with their crossbow loadout. He fires off two shots then turns away when suddenly an armor break blip appears in the center of the screen.  The word downed flashes to the right, and Kai turns around to investigate only to see the Helicopter dropping out of the sky. The word eliminated appears to provide final confirmation of an insane shot.

The impossible distance only goes to show what blind luck can do to a game. In the comments, Kai reveals that they were completely surprised that the shot hit, although that was the intention. It seems that recently helicopters in Warzone are being killed in very unexpected and unorthodox ways.

At first, this could be credited to the helicopter hitbox problem allowing for a wide range of success in hitting helicopters from a distance. If this were the case, then there would be no armor break sign. The way that the prompts present themselves make this an authentic hit at over 300 meters in distance.

This shot is being credited as an amazing mix of talent and luck. Players in the comment share the difficulty of hitting targets at extreme ranges in Modern Warfare, praising Kai's amazing mix of luck and talent. The only regret that Kai has is the lack of reaction from his victim.

Warzone requires a good balance between talent and luck to succeed. From players barely making it into the Warzone bunkers during a plunder match to perfectly timed grenade throws this game is slowly becoming more than a matter of skill. Warzone is quickly becoming a matter of luck as well.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
