Call of Duty: Warzone drops in a loadout crate during each zone closing on a rather predictable basis. These loadout crates are often vital for players spawning back into the game after a gulag battle, or for under-geared fans looking for a quick boost. While these crates have been easy to spot, recently, Call of Duty: Warzone fans are noticing a rather negative trend.

One factor that Call of Duty: Warzone fans can't control is the location that the zone randomly zooms into. While there have been instances in the past of the zone choosing impossible locations, generally, it stays within the map and at a reasonable location. With the new ship coming in, however, players have noticed a trend of the zone shifting coastal and causing an unexpected result.

The problem is easily visible in a clip posted by valkia onto Reddit. Although they take a more comical tone to the situation, players can clearly see the loadout drop in the distance fall into the depths of the ocean. As seen in the clip, players who enter the ocean die almost immediately, and this makes the loadout drop completely unreachable. For Call of Duty: Warzone fans awaiting the loadout, this is an unbelievably frustrating situation.

In a second example, Reddit user Shocker8128 shows that the box is rather close to the shore. It would be believable that the boxes are aiming for the shore, but the spawn algorithm is causing a shift that targets the sea. Some Call of Duty: Warzone fans believe that it's targeting a spot where the ship may eventually dock, but this is an unwarranted claim with very little evidence. One thing is certain: Call of Duty: Warzone fans can not reach this loadout drop even if they wanted to.

So far, the developers have not acknowledged this bug, leaving players without an explanation or a reasonable timeframe for a fix. Call of Duty: Warzone is filled with bugs like this, but this one is having a much larger impact on the overall performance of the match.

Until this Call of Duty: Warzone glitch is fixed, fans are advised to stock up on loadout drops from the varying stores. These can be used to deploy a box wherever and whenever a player needs it and can easily circumvent a bad box spawn or an offering to "the sea-gods," as some players are putting it.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
