Call of Duty: Warzone is currently in Season 2 Reloaded, and Activision plans to launch season 3 later this month. A recently released trailer showed all the content coming in season 3, including a tease for a Godzilla crossover. The next Call of Duty: Warzone season may also nerf snipers and implement other balance changes, but a clever trick used by a player will probably remain in the game.

Many players probably consider claymores to be some of the most annoying pieces of equipment in Call of Duty games. They are often used by campers, who place one next to the entrance to their spot. Over the years, many players figured out clever ways of using them to great effect, and one Call of Duty player recently utilized a neat claymore trick to kill their opponent in a hilarious manner.

A Redditor named Xtoxiczombie puts claymore on a flammable gas canister in a Call of Duty: Warzone match. They then pick up and throw the canister presumably to see if the claymore remains attached. After confirming that it does, they add a second claymore to the gas canister to make the ultimate throwing weapon. They go to a nearby window, find a player unaware of their presence, and throw the canister, resulting in a kill.

It appears players can attach claymores to a gas canister, allowing them to then throw the claymore at their opponents. There are plenty of ways to get kills in a Call of Duty: Warzone game, but this method is probably the most unique. The other player could not have seen this coming, and one user wonders if the kill cam showed Xtoxiczombie attaching the claymore to the canister.

Other players commend Xtoxiczombie for their ingenuity, and one claims that this clip is the best thing they have seen on the Call of Duty: Warzone subreddit. According to one user, it’s also possible to light the fuse on a gas canister and send it up a zip line, causing it to explode at the top.

The hilarious clip shows the level of interaction possible in Call of Duty: Warzone, and it’ll be interesting to see if Warzone’s sequel builds upon this mechanic. A recent report suggests that Call of Duty: Warzone 2 may skip PS4 and Xbox One and only launch on PC and current-gen hardware. The added power of these machines will probably give the developers room to add more unique ways for players to interact with the game’s world.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
