Call of Duty: Warzone has been a hit with battle royale fans and many are enjoying using the mechanics of the Call of Duty franchise while battling it out to be the last team standing. To adapt to player expectations, Warzone has had a series of updates but with these changes, new problems have surfaced. While most players are still enjoying the experience offered in the game, some have noticed a serious issue with C4.

The game has faced issues in the past and Infinity Ward has usually been quick to address problems within the title. However, texture issues in Warzone have continued and many will hope that the latest problem will not linger. The use of C4 offers an explosive alternative to typical shooting and it can be a useful strategic advantage for players. However, it seems some players appear to just be raising their elbow when they attempt to drop and throw the explosive.

Reddit user badder_endd highlighted the issue on the Warzone forum and noted that every time they tried to use the item they "started coughing into their elbow." The footage the player provided confirmed that this animation stopped after the elbow was raised. It seems that the usual animation is broken and as a result, the C4 is not being placed and this will be problematic for players who want to take out opponents with the explosive. Unfortunately, there is no way to be sure whether the C4 animation will work and so players will just have to hope for a successful explosion. In this instance, the player managed to get away with testing out the animation but others may not be so lucky.

It is unclear what created this issue and because of that, the problem may persist for some unfortunate players. Many will hope that this issue is fixed in the next update for Warzone and given that Infinity Ward frequently address issues if the problem becomes widespread it should be dealt with. Nonetheless many will hope that they can rely on the weapons and explosives in the game rather than anticipating a possible glitch that could prove deadly.

Warzone has a huge player base and while most are happy, some fans do run into issues. While it is unlikely that Warzone bugs will completely disappear, many will hope that these kinds of issues are addressed quickly before they impact more players and their experience.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
