Call of Duty: Warzone has certainly had its fair share of bugs, though the latest is particularly annoying. Given the fact that buy stations are so crucial to every Call of Duty: Warzone match, the mechanic being broken is cause for concern.

Call of Duty: Warzone fans rely on buy stations for a number of useful upgrades. Armor can be purchased here, as can scorestreaks like airstrikes and UAVs. Most importantly, a trip to a buy station is necessary in order to bring back eliminated teammates. However, the game’s latest bug sees these stations being impossible to spot on the map, meaning that players can only find them if they come right up to them and access the station.

Seemingly caused by a new Call of Duty: Warzone update that dropped on November 3, Reddit user dartgoblinisthebest showed the issue via a post in the CODWarzone community. As shown in the image, buy stations are nowhere to be found, with the player’s map being entirely empty apart from the circle, some enemy dots, and their squad’s arrows. Obviously, this is a huge problem, as it stops players from being able to strategize and plot out where they want to go next.

Given that the buy stations will appear on the map once they have been found and activated, some have theorized that this was an intentional decision on the part of Raven Software. Others have recognized that it is a bug of some kind, but have hoped that it would become a permanent feature of the game anyway. However, while some like the randomness that the glitch brings, as it provides an additional level of difficulty, Raven has made it clear that this was not done on purpose and that it is aware of the problem.

In response to a Twitter user named @marcusmarcel, who pointed out the buy station problem, Raven said that it is “looking into” the glitch. While there is no ETA on a fix, the fact that it is coming should help ease concerns of Call of Duty: Warzone fans. For those theorizing that this was a decision that aimed to change up the flow of matches, or testing for a new feature on the upcoming Caldera map, Raven has made it clear that this is a legitimate problem. With it impacting many players, hopefully Raven has enough data to track down the problem.

With several Call of Duty: Warzone events scheduled, Ricochet anti-cheat coming, and Caldera launching in just one month, there is a lot of exciting content on the way. As such, it would be for the best if this bug and any others are dealt with soon so that players can focus on enjoying the new additions.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
