Call of Duty: Warzone, like other battle royale games, has secrets for players to discover dotted around its massive map. Perhaps the biggest mystery on the Warzone map currently is the purpose of the bunkers, all of which are locked with a code, but none of which can be opened at the time of this writing. While we still don't know the exact purpose of the bunkers, some Call of Duty: Warzone players have managed to glitch through them to see what's inside.

In Call of Duty: Warzone, some players have managed to use drones to glitch through the locked bunker doors and explore the other side. Unfortunately, there's not much interesting to see at this point in time. Players will go through a short hallway that leads to a rocky cliff. Beyond that, players will just see underneath the Warzone map, indicating that Infinity Ward has yet to actually finish creating the bunkers for the game.

It's unlikely that the finished Warzone bunkers will lead to an outside cliff. The short hallway that players first see after glitching through the bunker doors will most likely be similar to what the full bunkers look like, so fans can use that as a reference for what to expect.

As for when the bunkers may be finished, that remains to be seen. Infinity Ward releases new Warzone updates on a weekly basis, and so it's possible that players will be able to enter the bunkers as early as the game's next update. Alternatively, players may have to wait a little longer before they're able to get inside the bunkers on the Warzone map. Really it's just a guessing game at this point until Infinity Ward decides to share more information on the bunkers and their purpose in the game.

Since Warzone is a Call of Duty game, it's possible that the bunkers are part of some elaborate easter egg, but a more likely explanation is that they will be similar to the vaults from Apex Legends. If so, players should be able to find bunker codes through normal gameplay, and the bunkers themselves will likely just contain a bunch of high-level loot. Then again, it's possible that the bunkers will function much differently than how Warzone players expect, so fans will just have to wait and see on that front.

Hopefully more information on the Warzone bunkers come sooner rather than later. In the meantime, fans of the game can also look forward to Warzone adding more team size options as well as limited-time modes in the near future.
