Call of Duty: Warzone players have been puzzling over how to open the numerous bunkers spread throughout its map since they were first discovered, but now it seems that the answer has become clear. Following the latest update, players can now find key cards which open the bunkers, allowing them to enter and claim the treasure inside.

For awhile, many Call of Duty: Warzone players were trying inventive ways to get the bunkers open, but as it happens they just needed to wait for this update. That said, there's still a lot of secrets to uncover about the bunkers, so players shouldn't rest just yet.

As it happens, FaZe Dirty was the one to discover this, as he and his team got lucky enough to find a key card. Response to this discovery is mixed, as fans are unsure whether to be excited about the bunkers or not.

Warning: The following clip uses some offensive language.

In order to open a bunker, the player will need to find a key card. There is not a consensus as of yet regarding where the best place to find key cards is, but there have been reports of players finding them in legendary crates. After this, head to one of the bunkers on the map (a key card will open any of them), and use it to open the doors. Once inside, follow the path to a room full of tons of loot, and a mysterious locked door on the other end of the hall.

It is unclear whether this locked door can be opened with another key card, leading deeper inside the bunker, or if it actually leads to an alternate entrance from the outside. While finding a key card can be difficult, it is definitely worth doing, as the loot inside these bunkers is simply insane and will certainly give players an edge. There were certainly those hoping for a more innovative way of getting these open, but thankfully there is still more to discover. Hopefully players will soon find out how to get the second door open, or determine the best way to find key cards.

Also, the ability to open these bunkers will change up how games go to an extent. Players may be more focused on entering the bunkers, causing conflicts over key cards and first entries. Beyond this, there may be squads that are considerably well equipped from looting vaults.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
