Activision hosted a big blowout event for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that announced tons of new information regarding the game's multiplayer modes. Fans had a ton of questions about Black Ops Cold War before the event, such as what modes are available, when does the Black Ops Cold War beta start, and, most importantly, how does the new game work with Call of Duty: Warzone? Luckily, fans were treated to plenty of details regarding integration between both games.

Once Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases later this year, content will spill over into Warzone. Warzone will feature some of the themes, weapons, and operators that are found in Black Ops Cold War. New content will be added to the seasonal Battle Pass and Store post-launch that will be shared across both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Once Black Ops Cold War launches, the game will introduce a new leveling system that will later connect to Warzone which will allow players to unlock content in both games.

Warzone players will still have access to the weapons, operators, blueprints, and so on that they've already unlocked through Modern Warfare. After the launch of Black Ops Cold War, Warzone will simply host content from both games for players to choose from.

The Call of Duty: Warzone map has been dropping all kinds of hints toward Black Ops Cold War for weeks now, so it'll be interesting to see how the two games will continue to weave together. During the multiplayer presentation, it was said that "both games [Black Ops Cold War and Warzone] will share post-launch content from a narrative standpoint, interweaving the themes, locations, weapons, and vehicles of Black Ops Cold War into Warzone..." So, with that, fans can expect all kinds of new additions to Warzone over the next few months.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War brings all kinds of new and interesting additions to the franchise's tried and true multiplayer formula. During the reveal event, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War team showed off several vehicles that would be featured in different maps including jet skis, tanks, and snowmobiles. There's no word currently on if any of these vehicles will be added to Call of Duty: Warzone but if the map continues to change, it's a possibility.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War launches November 13 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also in development.
