Call of Duty: Warzone players have no shortage of guns to choose from when designing their loadouts, though most will likely follow a similar format. Gamers will use an LMG, Tactical Rifle, or Sniper Rifle in one slot, with an SMG or Assault Rifle being used for close range encounters in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Plenty of SMGs are viable, though with the recent MP5 nerf, there is one less gun that players can lean on in the SMG category. While the MAC-10 has remained solid despite not being as broken as it was when it was first added, and the Bullfrog remains an underrated option, one gun that many may have an eye on is the MP7. For those interested in using this SMG, there is one specific build that should prove to be particularly useful.

While most players have been relying on the Call of Duty: Warzone SMGs that come from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, as they were recently buffed, the MP7 is still effective in Verdansk 84 and Rebirth Island. While it is not as well-rounded as the Milano 821, it sports an incredibly fast chest and stomach TTK for those that are good at landing body shots. With the right attachments, its range can be given a significant boost as well.

The Best MP7 Loadout For Call of Duty: Warzone

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: FSS Recon
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
  • Stock: No Stock

Kicking things off is the Monolithic Suppressor, an attachment that is an absolute must for any Call of Duty: Warzone loadout. Not only does it keep players off radars, something that is crucial to finding success in a battle royale game, but it also provides a noticeable increase to damage range. For players planning to use a long-range weapon in their other slot, this will allow the MP7 to be effective in close quarters and when fighting from a distance. The FSS Recon Barrel is equally important, as it boosts range, bullet velocity, and recoil control.

The Ranger Foregrip, like with any other grip, will allow players to maintain accuracy. 60 Round Mags are a no brainer with any fast-firing SMG, making them another requirement for this slot. The final attachment can be messed around with, as those that prefer to hip fire can go with something like the Tac Laser. However, Call of Duty: Warzone players who prefer to aim down their sights will likely find the No Stock option to be superior, as it helps a lot when it comes to movement speed.

While there is no shortage of weapons to pair the MP7 with, the new EM2 Assault Rifle could be worth trying out. While neither gun is truly meta, as the latter is too new and the former is outclassed by other SMGs, they could both be a good way for players to freshen things up.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
