Call of Duty: Warzone players have found yet another new issue with the game. Gamers are becoming increasingly frustrated with Activision over the company's failed attempts at fixing Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard. The game has had a serious cheating problem ever since it first released and in an effort to fix this, the developer unknowingly caused a different issue.

Activision has done everything in its power to reduce cheating in Call of Duty: Warzone, although, sadly, these efforts seem to have been in vain. The game is still experiencing a cheating problem despite Activision implementing its Ricochet anti-cheat system. Players have recently found an issue with an unannounced feature of the system that can seemingly detect if a player is unnaturally accurate and then adjust the damage that player deals regardless of the weapon they make use of. In theory, the system should give regular players a huge and well-deserved advantage over cheaters who make use of aimbot cheats. However, Call of Duty: Warzone players are worried that the system will not be able to differentiate between exceptionally talented players and those that make use of aimbot.

Activision recently issued a statement about its plans to fix Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard. The statement was addressed to players and basically made note of the fact that the developers of its games are listening to the frustrations players have with the games currently and are hard at work attempting to fix them. The company then followed up with another message listing the issues that Call of Duty games had recently experienced, that had been fixed.

One Call of Duty developer was unhappy with this statement and decided to call out Activision. Kate Anderson, a quality assurance worker at the company, stated that Activision had sent similar statements via email to its employees without making any real attempts to change. Many gamers have also voiced their concerns stating that they believe the current poor state of the Call of Duty games is the result of Activision's ongoing internal issues.

In other Call of Duty news, some players have been complaining that some new Call of Duty: Warzone cosmetics are pay-to-lose. This was rather strange as players have often complained of the opposite being true, however, it seems as though the Oni Mask skin is causing some player's weapon crosshairs to be off-center. This is a massive issue as a misaligned crosshair can obviously severely affect a player's aim.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
