A hilarious clip from the DMZ game mode in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 shows a player grabbing an Uber to their destination. Call of Duty: Warzone 2 comes with a few notable changes that differentiate it from the original Warzone, with the Gulab being 2v2 encounters one of its biggest new features.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 also added a new game mode called DMZ, which has a heavy focus on survival and extraction. In a match of DMZ, players are tasked with completing various objectives on the map along with collecting loot and valuable items. Users can then sell those items to upgrade their gear, with a final goal of safely extracting at the end of the run. Now, one Call of Duty: Warzone 2 fan came across an unexpected taxi service in the middle of a game.

A Reddit user named Themadkixg1 has to secure a piece of intel in the DMZ game mode, but they come across another player on the way to the destination. The opponent is driving a vehicle in Warzone 2 and asks if the Themadkixg1 needs a pickup service. Themadkixg1 agrees to use the supposed taxi service and the team reaches its destination without a hassle. The player gives the taxi driver a $1000 tip by dropping cash from their inventory as both users go their separate ways.

For those unaware, gamers will encounter both AI and human opponents while playing DMZ, but in this case, the players decided that it’s better to help other users instead of fighting them. The practice doesn’t seem to be rare either, as another video from November 2022 shows a Call of Duty: Warzone 2 fan becoming an in-game Uber driver.

Some users in the comment section discuss if $1000 was enough for the relatively short ride, with one surprised at Themadkixg1 not killing the driver and taking their loot instead. Many gamers also talk about the wholesomeness of the video and how it’s only possible due to the proximity chat feature present in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are currently in Season 1 Reloaded, but there is little information available on Season 2. A recent leak hints at the content that may come in this update, and it looks like Activision may have some bad news for fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer portion.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
