It's a big week for fans of Activision's hit annual franchise Call of Duty, as the latest game is now only days away from launching. Call of Duty Vanguard takes the franchise back to World War 2, the conflict that the massive franchise originally took place in before moving to the modern era. This time around, Call of Duty Vanguard focuses more on special forces than the typical frontline grunt, offering a look at allied soldier's on the four fronts of war: Eastern, Western, North African, and the Pacific.

This year's Call of Duty game is headed up by Sledgehammer Games, so the return to the World War 2 setting should be seamless as the developer's last game also took place during this time frame. However, one of Activision's support studios, Beenox, was placed in charge of the PC version of the title and making sure it takes advantage of a number of PC exclusive features which has been hilighted in the latest gameplay trailer.
