Call of Duty: Vanguard is the latest in Activision's series of highly successful first-person shooters. Call of Duty: Vanguard offered fans a return to the setting of WWII, something that many had been requesting since the franchise started to move in a more futuristic direction. With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: WWII also bringing back historical or more modern-day stories, Vanguard was seen by many as the third attempt to bring the Call of Duty series back to the series' origins.

Though Call of Duty remains an incredibly popular franchise, both Vanguard and the battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone have suffered from bugs and glitches since their respective launches. Both games face consistent criticism from fans over a variety of topics, though game-breaking bugs can prove especially frustrating in a competitive shooter such as Call of Duty. From allowing players to make trees move to a bug that turns players into dead bodies, Call of Duty: Vanguard has more than a few bugs players are finding problems with.

Now, though, a glitch is giving some players wall hacks through systems implemented by the game. Found on Twitter, a short clip shows a player using the Glide Bomb kill streak, which allows a player to see where enemies are on a map. With many airstrike kill streaks or kill streaks that require striking from above, Call of Duty has often allowed players to see the locations of enemies on the map, so it's more likely they can use their kill streak properly. Call of Duty: Vanguard is no different, though it gives players perhaps too much help in spotting their enemies.

In the clip, the ability to see players through walls persists after using the Glide Bomb kill streak, giving the Call of Duty: Vanguard player wall hacks, as they can spot enemies consistently as they run around the map. Obviously, this is quite unfair to the players who don't have wall hacks and has been immediately called out by Call of Duty fans. Cheating in Call of Duty is something that players have been dealing with for some time. Even pro players have faced serious cheating accusations in the Call of Duty competitive scene.

While Activision has implemented Ricochet Anti-Cheat to help stop cheaters in Call of Duty, many have pointed out that it's hard to catch cheaters when a game exploit gives some players cheats. The Call of Duty developers often update the game, though, and fix bugs as they appear. So many are hoping that this bug quickly becomes a top priority to be fixed.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
