Popular Streamers on Twitch and Mixer often perform challenges to impress their viewers. One such streamer was building up a massive win streak in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare only to have it come to an abrupt end at the hands of an aim bot.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone have both been plagued with hackers and bots since the game's initial launch. After dedicating over 90 hours across ten different streams, the Call of Duty fan was infuriated to have lost his streak to a cheater. On Twitter, the streamer asks for the developers to reset his streak and for them to do something about the aim bot using player.

In the stream, Hype Stallion is seen in what appears to be a standard game of domination on the popular Shipment map. The game is going great and Stallion's team is quickly gaining points towards victory. Around halfway through the match Stallion gets killed and notices an aim bot in effect. Quickly it becomes his mission to kill the cheating player, but as the kill count rises Stallion gets more frustrated. With the score at 118 to 31 Stallion is shocked at a loss caused by a nuke dropped by the aim bot-using player. Hours of work were gone in an instant, as his impressive 357 game win streak came to an end.

Stallion took to Twitter to express his frustration and posted clips of the game that show the aim bot in effect. Several clips were taken and sent to Infinity Ward in hopes of having the offending player banned. After a few moments of silence and some thought, Stallion loaded up another match and moved on showing grace in the face of utter defeat to a cheater.

Activision has been working tirelessly to fix problems within the game since launch. After one issue is fixed, another quickly takes its place. There is no easy solution to aim bots, hackers, and cheaters within the game, but players are not completely without a defense. Recent updates have improved the report system adding in a feature where the game will notify players if their report resulted in a ban.

The developer will add more updates to the game's security measures and try to minimize the occurrence of aim bots and hackers, but some fans are wondering if that is enough. For the problem to be so prominent and escalating as fast as it is, many Call of Duty fans are seeing an inherent flaw in the game itself. Many believe that something in the cross-play or core game files is allowing the rampant rise of cheaters to go uncontested.

Despite the rise of problems, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is both the most played and is the highest selling game of the CoD franchise in this console generation. Fans are still spending hours a day battling it out on the realistic battlefield, and no amount of cheaters or hackers will stop their dedication. As for Stallion, he has restarted his objective and is now working to break his high score of longest-running win-streaks.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
