The update released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone yesterday was massive, packing 30 GB of content into the already meaty games. However, along with all that content, from new game modes in Modern Warfare to accessible bunkers in the free-to-play Warzone, came a number of bugs and issues that Infinity Ward has addressed through a playlist update disseminated to all platforms earlier today.

Today's playlist update addresses an issue with Trios matches not starting in Warzone, fixes an undisclosed bug in the Reinforced Ground War mode, and makes scores display properly when playing the "Clean Up on Aisle 9" playlist according to a Tweet put out by Infinity Ward. The lattermost fix specifically addresses a 3v3 playlist implemented through Monday's update which focuses entirely on providing multiple game modes to try with Modern Warfare's new Gunfight map, Aisle 9.

Though the Reinforced Ground Mode fix is vague at best, fans looking to play with their friends in Activision's ever-expanding take on the battle royale genre are likely overjoyed knowing that it will no longer keep them out of certain match types for extended periods of time. This may be especially useful as its season of content continues, given players have found hidden nuclear weapons in a locked bunker.

It's not unusual to see reports of bugs and glitches in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone pop up all over the Internet, particularly following a huge content dump. While much of the world works at home due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it's fair to give the developers a little leeway on the matter — especially given how quickly Infinity Ward pushed out this playlist update.

Of course, another staple of Call of Duty updates beyond new game modes, maps, and content to play is new cosmetics available to purchase through the in-game store. This week Activision and Infinity Ward will be releasing the Ghost Pack Contingency Bundle, giving players a long-anticipated skin to use while exploring Aisle 9 and Warzone's opened bunkers.

As this content continues to roll out in Modern Warfare and Warzone, fellow Call of Duty developer Treyarch may be preparing for more fun times to come. The Black Ops series had its 10-year anniversary yesterday, and in a celebration video there were certain elements slipped in that have led fans to believe something big will be coming soon.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
