A new playlist update has gone live for Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. This update augments the Halloween-themed list by shuffling things around for a small taste of variety. With the Haunting of Verdansk event ending next week, Warzone fans will likely appreciate a small variation on game options.

Changes in playlists occur around once a week in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare. Usually, it is as simple as changing out multiplayer limited-time modes and reorganizing the Warzone options for special content. The one thing fans know for sure every week is that these updates are typically small and don't contain patch information, instead prioritizing player options.

This week's playlist change sees the removal of the Zombie Royale button. The game mode is still available, but the button that would trigger it before is now gone. Players should be happy to see the return of Snipers Only TDM, which previously turned into a quick-scoping competition. As for Warzone, Halloween BR Solos has been changed into Monster Quads, bringing more players onto the haunted map of Verdansk. Juggernaut Royale will be leaving, and in its place Plunder: Quads returns. This is a great chance for players to gather the last few Trick or Treat chests they need to get a full kit of gear.

These changes to the playlist add some variety to any fan's game experience. Although these are minor changes to the playlist selection, many fans are happy for the opportunity to drop into the popular Call of Duty Halloween content with a squad. Trick or Treating is almost always more fun with friends, after all.

Snipers Only (TDM) has appeared as a game mode before. Although it was relatively successful, many fans called for the return of Shoot the Ship as an alternative. Still, Snipers Only seems like a good opportunity to grind out the last few Sniper Rifles in a relatively fair battleground.

Many fans have found that Punder: Quads provides ample opportunity to finish gathering the last of the Trick or Treat boxes. Due to the pre-set loadouts, players can potentially survive a higher population drop more consistently, and boxes become a secondary objective for many players. This opens a unique chance to clean up players and boxes who are dropping to the map and gather those last remaining Treats.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
