So far, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has proved pretty popular among its fan base, with players enjoying a twist on the classic gameplay Call of Duty has been known for during most of its lifespan. However, it's also had its fair share of bugs, from infinite ammo glitches to smaller, less game-breaking issues— and one of the smaller ones is proving pretty popular.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players appear to be getting a glitch forcing them into a third-person camera, but it seems that some players enjoy the view. Those players aren't wrong, either, as the game actually looks really solid from the third-person perspective, offering a detailed view of character models, skins, and animations.

It's clear that the game isn't intended to be seen from that perspective, as some of the animations are a little bit janky to see. Still, it looks incredibly clean overall, even when moving at fast speeds with rapidly changing animations. Previous Call of Duty games have incorporated a third-person mode too, so it doesn't seem that far out of the question. Who knows, it may even show up in a Modern Warfare sequel.

On Reddit, players seem to be embracing the idea, with many citing the Team Tactical third-person mode from Modern Warfare 2 as an example of how it could work. Modern Warfare has run limited-time modes, and a third-person mode, potentially with a Mosh Pit playlist, could be a good candidate for the game, though it falls to Infinity Ward to actually implement it.

Bugs have remained a hot topic for the Call of Duty community with Modern Warfare. While the game is by no means grossly bug-ridden, it has had its fair share of issues, though Infinity Ward has been fixing bugs with updates. There's still quite a bit to do, but it's good to see the developer make an effort to keep things stable.

Call of Duty fans have been making some great recommendations too, with one player recently suggesting a superb perk idea for Modern WarfareIf anything, Infinity Ward should have a lot of different ideas to potentially implement in the future. If enough people ask, third-person modes may be one of them.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
