Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has earned mostly positive reviews, but the game is not without its critics. There's been a lot of discussion about its multiplayer mode in particular, with some fans complaining quite a bit about its spawn system. There are those who feel the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare spawn system is set up poorly, so that it's not totally uncommon for players to die, spawn, and then immediately get killed again. To illustrate this, Reddit user ASVPJWOP uploaded a video showing just how unforgiving the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare spawn system can be.

In the clip, which has nearly 10,000 upvotes at the time of this writing, ASVPJWOP fires a Javelin JOKR rocket at the objective. Just as they shoot the rocket, they are shot in the back by enemies. They then respawn exactly where the rocket lands, killing themselves in the process.

It's a rather absurd way to die in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's multiplayer, but it's just the latest ridiculous spawn death that we've seen. Perhaps an even crazier spawn death occurred when a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare player spawned in mid-air, at such a height that their fall to the ground killed them instantly.

Since its launch, there have been plenty of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer clips that have been absurd, though some of them are actually impressive feats in the game. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have been using the throwing knife in particular to rack up impressive kills in the game, often getting long-range kills or pulling off insane throwing knife trick shots that see the weapon ricochet off objects and hit unsuspecting enemies.

Many times, these Call of Duty: Modern Warfare clips happen by complete accident, as was the case with ASVPJWOP killing themselves with their own Javelin. Another example of an accidental and ridiculous Call of Duty: Modern Warfare clip comes in the form of a UAV being destroyed by a care package. In that clip, a player attempted to shoot down a UAV with a rocket launcher, only for a care package to fall in front of their missile, sending it flying into the UAV instead.

Moving forward, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare can expect the community to continue uploading their most impressive and ridiculous clips online. And with the addition of new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare weapons, future clips may add some more variety to the mix.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
