Datamines and leaks often reveal exciting and surprise content in Call of Duty: Warzone. After careful investigation, dedicated fans noticed new codes in the game files that suggest fan-favorite weapons may be coming to the game.

Season 4 brought a bunch of new content into Warzone, including the Vector and Galil. Still, fans like to know what is headed in the future expansions. Two files were noticed, the M200 & M200_c, and fans are expecting them to go live in Season 5's release.

The game files revealed two weapons that were later confirmed by a prominent Call of Duty leaker to be the Spas-12 and Intervention, two weapons with a history in the Call of Duty community. Fans are excited at the possibility of these weapons making an appearance, to say the least. These are classic weapons from the franchise that almost every fan knows about, having appeared in several titles.

The Spas-12 was first introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.  The gun continued to appear all the way into Infinite Warfare becoming a famous and controversial shotgun throughout the years. The Spas-12 is considered a "classic" weapon in Infinite Warfare with an eight-round magazine and heavy close-range damage. As a pump-action weapon, the gun gave players a level of vulnerability while still pumping out tons of damage to the enemy forces.

As for the Intervention, the gun first appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with its most recent reappearance in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The Intervention is a strong sniper rifle with a seven-round magazine. As a bolt-action sniper, it has had one of the slowest firing times, but the damage output makes up the difference. In previous iterations, this weapon was considered one of the best snipers in Call of Duty. It is unknown if it will hold this designation in its eventual launch to Warzone.

Season 4 has added tons of new content for fans to enjoy, but having these guns on the horizon gives players something to look forward too. Although these are leaks with an unknown amount of accuracy, these weapons seem like plausible additions to the Call of Duty: Warzone armory. The Galil and Vector were added this season, so it is not unreasonable to expect the developers to add these additional leaked weapons into the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone is availiable on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
