Call of Duty: Modern Warfare recently added the classic Call of Duty 4 map Crash to the game, but not all fans have been happy with its implementation. Infinity Ward made some changes to Crash, and some feel these changes make the map worse. Some are worried that the upcoming Shipment map will be changed in ways to make it less appealing as well, and while there's no concrete evidence of this, there is a leaked image that is causing some concern.

The leaked image of Shipment as it will apparently appear in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was recently highlighted by YouTube channel Blame Truth Archives. There isn't a ton to go by in the image, but it does show what appears to be a crate with an open door that wasn't in the original version of Shipment. This crate is sitting on top of another crate, which would usually mean it would be inaccessible on the original version of the map. However, there is a barrel in place next to the crate that players will presumably be able to use to reach the open container, potentially becoming a "premiere camp spot," according to Blame Truth Archives.

Considering the unpopular changes that have been made to Crash, it's reasonable for fans to assume that Infinity Ward may make some of these changes to Shipment. It wouldn't even be the first time the beloved Call of Duty 4 map was changed when remade for other games, though it remains to be seen if that will be the case this time around or not.

Before fans get too upset about the potential changes to Shipment in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, they should wait for the map to be added to the game proper. And even if there are some changes to Shipment, it's possible that fans may even like them. After all, Crash and Shipment are two very different maps, and just because changes don't necessarily work for one doesn't mean they won't for the other. Of course, it's just as possible that Shipment won't live up to expectations either, so fans will just have to wait and get their hands on the map to be sure.

As for when Shipment is coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare proper, that remains to be seen. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 1 will be rolling out new content on a weekly basis until the end of January, so it could come any week now.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
