With all the excitement built around the newest game in the franchise, fans don't have to wait much longer to know what the latest update has in store for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the newest addition to the hit first-person shooter game series that spans multiple consoles. The game is developed by Infinity Ward back in 2019 for current-gen consoles, and the game is a reboot of the old Modern Warefare sub-series while also creating new content for the franchise with the inclusion of a new battle royale game mode.

The game is currently in Season 3 of new content, giving players things such as new maps, weapons, skins, and operators. The next season isn't expected to be fully revealed until June 3rd; however, multiple leaks have made their way online showcasing some new in-game weapons.

Fans may already be aware of the May 15th leak that revealed the new guns Vector and Galil, but now there is footage of these guns that shows how fully developed the weapons are now. The Vector gun is now referred to as "Fennec," however, it still maintains its original design aspects. The Galil, which is called "AL_GALIMA" in the game, is relatively similar to other versions of the gun, except now it has a new white coat of paint.

Part of the new leak also shows the addition of a new melee weapon the dual Akimbo Blades, giving players the option to slash enemies at an arm's length away quickly. There is also a new Rytek AMR Sniper with a five-round magazine capacity that will be included in the game. Based on the clip, it seems that there is little to no recoil and only a mere half-second interval between shots.

It isn't sure when these new weapons will exactly drop within season four. And judging from the clip, it is unclear how much damage any of these weapons will do in the game or how practical they will be to use. However, it is nice seeing what direction Infinity Ward is taking with developing weapons for the game that appeals to fans with a variety of playstyles.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
