Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the latest entry in Infinity Ward's military shooter series, has proven to be just as big a hit as many of its previous entries. With so many maps and game modes on offer, some players like to use the Quick Play filter to cycle through them.

However, fans have noticed an issue with this option. For some reason, the Quick Play filter in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare isn't rotating through different game modes like it's supposed to, meaning players are stuck playing the same mode on different maps.

So far, the only way to for players to fix this issue is to back out and reenter the Quick Play filter, but then players will once again get stuck playing whatever mode it picks. Fortunately, the developers at Infinity Ward have noticed too and have confirmed that a fix for Modern Warfare's Quick Play filter is "in flight." This news was revealed when Infinity Ward Art Director Joel Emslie (the same dev who responded to players' 6v6 map requests) answered a player's question on Reddit, mentioning that more details on the fix would be on the way.

That's not the only weird bug Modern Warfare has right now. It seems the fan-favorite map Shoot House has a bug that allows players to shoot through walls. This glitch isn't just confirmed to a single spot, either. It seems the bug is affecting walls across the entire map. It is possible this might not be a bug at all, but a design choice by Infinity Ward that fans are just noticing now. It's unknown whether or not fans love or hate this "wallbang" quirk, but it'll probably be largely decided by whether or not they just lost at Shoot House.

If this "wallbang" quirk really does turn out to be a left-over bug, it's very likely Infinity Ward will be looking to fix it in their next big patch update that was teased just a few days ago. However, it's currently unclear when that will actually release.

Of course, players who have been stuck playing the same game mode over and over again in the broken Quick Play filter may not be fully prepared for the other game modes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's online multiplayer has to offer. As such, those players may want to review some Modern Warfare pro tips before diving back in.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Season 1 continues through the end of January.
