Now just days away from release, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available for pre-order via numerous retailers. Some offer different variations on pre-order exclusives, and Walmart has now revealed its own exclusive pre-order bonus for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Oftentimes, pre-ordered titles come with unique skins, camos, and other cosmetic additions, or in Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC's case, free Rockstar games. These items come as a bonus for purchasing games through a specific store or website. In the case of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, those who pre-order the game from Walmart will receive three hours of 2XP (double experience points) with their copy of the game.

Some pre-order bonuses had been announced previously. Other Call of Duty: Modern Warfare pre-order bonuses include one Prestige Token for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 when pre-ordered through Battle.net, the Microsoft Store, or the PlayStation Store. A PS4 Dynamic Reveal Theme is also obtained through a PS Store pre-order while a C.O.D.E. Calling Card is available with a GameStop pre-order.

Furthermore, those who pre-order the game get an additional bonus for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Anyone who pre-orders Call of Duty: Modern Warfare through Amazon, Battle.net, Best Buy, GameStop, the Microsoft Store, the PlayStation Store, or Walmart will be able to play as Modern Warfare's Captain Price in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

There are multiple physical editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare available for pre-order as well, which each come with their own set of bonuses, cosmetic and otherwise. This includes a custom in-game tactical knife that is included in many editions of the physical game.

There are plenty of options available for pre-ordering the game, and it's important to consider each edition's bonuses and retailer-exclusive bonuses before making the ultimate decision. For the most excited of those anticipating the game's release, it might be worth strongly considering a pre-order on the Microsoft Store or PlayStation Store, which will allow players to preload the game. As the game's install size is incredibly large, it's important to consider downloading the digital version of the game so it can be started up as soon as possible.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is releasing October 25, 2019, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
