Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have discovered a number of bugs with the game since launch, and luckily Infinity Ward has been quick to fix them when they're discovered. Hopefully Infinity Ward is quick to fix this new bug that's been found in the game, as it puts players using the P90 with FFS Ring Sight at a big disadvantage than if they were using a different sight in the game.

The P90 FFS Ring Sight is an integrated red dot sight. It's been discovered that when players are aiming down the scope with the P90, it causes a lens flare like when players are using sniper rifles. This doesn't appear to be by design, and it puts players using the weapon and sight at a disadvantage. After all, it makes it significantly easier for enemy players to spot them, and so we would advise players against using this weapon and sight combo in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare until a fix is released.

Interestingly enough, this isn't even the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare bug that had to do with the game's aiming. A more serious bug was discovered that was triggered when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players customized their weapons with charms. This bug made it so that hip firing accuracy was way off compared to when a charm wasn't equipped. Infinity Ward was quick to fix that problem, though, and so we can't imagine that this P90 bug will be in the game for much longer.

Bug fixes are definitely appreciated by the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare community, but some fans are more interested in content updates. Luckily, there's evidence that Infinity Ward has big plans for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the future in terms of new content. For example, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has leaked two new weapons in the form of the Vector SMG and the crossbow, and dataminers have found files for a bunch of classic Call of Duty maps.

Dataminers have also discovered more evidence of the long-rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare battle royale mode. According to the leaks, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare battle royale mode will consist of 200 player battles when it launches in 2020.

But before fans get too excited about the possibility of a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare battle royale mode, we should stress that nothing official has been announced by Activision or Infinity Ward just yet. If it's real, fans should expect details in the coming months. And in the meantime, they can look forward to smaller content updates and hopefully a patch that addresses this issue with the P90.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
