Call of Duty received its long awaited fourth season recently, which finally brought new content to both Modern Warfare and Warzone, with the latter receiving in-match events that are sure to radically shake up otherwise standard battle-royale matches.

It did also bring with it a pretty meaty download size of 34.7GB, which has been prompting some to uninstall the games since they take up so much space, but Infinity Ward is working to fix that.

Most of what's been added is pretty standard, such as new Modern Warfare maps and a new Warzone Rumble mode, where two teams of 50 players can go to war with each other. But we also know that Season 4 will be including more new modes for both games down the line, most of which are returning from previous games.

Firstly, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be receiving both Team Defender and All or Nothing. Team Defender, which was first introduced in Modern Warfare 3, works a bit like Capture the Flag. Instead of the flag only being in one place, however, a player must hold onto the flag for as long as possible whilst their teammates protect them from the opposing team.

As for All or Nothing, the general basis for this mode is that players start the match with a set loadout, consisting of a single weapon and two knives (one for throwing) and no ammo, which they must scavenge for. And every time they are killed, they have to start from scratch.

We also know that One in the Chamber will be returning - a mode where players only have a single bullet and can only get a new one by killing another player - but it will apparently have some sort of twist that will likely differentiate from its inclusion in previous games.

As for Warzone, it will be receiving two brand new modes called Juggernaut Royale and Realism Warzone. What they will entail hasn't been confirmed yet but we can probably make some safe assumptions.

Juggernaut has been a game mode in previous titles and involved one player being the Juggernaut, an extra powerful player, that the other players must kill. Whoever does then becomes the new Juggernaut. So it's likely that Warzone will be incorporating this mode.

Realism Mode has also been in other games, including the current Modern Warfare, and simply removes the HUD and other on-screen prompts so as to make players feel like they're a real soldier. It also makes it so that headshots will instantly kill.

At the time of writing, we don't know when these modes will be added but they will most certainly be part of Season 4.

In the meantime, there have been more leaks related to the next Call of Duty title, which is looking more and more likely to be another Black Ops game, one that takes place during the Cold War.

Some are hoping to see it be announced during today's PlayStation 5 event, which will be showing off a number of PS5 games, especially since the new Call of Duty is expected to release later this year.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone are available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
