Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remains one of the most anticipated upcoming released of 2019. But developer Infinity Ward still has plenty left to reveal about the upcoming first-person shooter. Some aren't willing to wait, however, leading to another round of supposed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare leaks. YouTube channel TheGamingRevolution recently put together a new video regarding several leaks they've heard about regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's planned multiplayer modes.

TGR notes that, according their sources, Infinity Ward is experimenting with dozens of different multiplayer modes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. As such, even the modes he's heard of could potentially be full modes or limited-time modes. They could also be cut or dramatically changed before the game's launch. Nevertheless, some of the modes he's heard about are exciting and worth sharing, so they've gone ahead releasing what they've heard.

Four different unannounced modes stand out from what TGR has heard. One mode is Team Defender, a mode introduced in Modern Warfare 3. Team Defender tasks a team with defending one of their members while they hold onto a flag. Mode two is a new variation of Demolition, a competitive mode where if a player dies they're out for the round. No respawns. The final two modes come from Call of Duty: Ghosts - Clan Wars and Cranked.

TGR also has information regarding two other Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer modes, one officially announced and one rumored. Modern Warfare's alpha focused on a new mode named Gunfight. The rumor is that Gunfight will have a huge variety of variations, one being Gun Game and the other a mini-Team Deathmatch. The leaks also go into the rumored Modern Warfare battle royale mode which increasingly sounds like it'll be launched in 2020 as a standalone free-to-play game. The leaks say that plans are to have solo, duo, trio, and squad queues for the battle royale portion.

It needs to be reiterated that these leaks are sourced only to TGR and are thus unverified. It's best to consider them rumors until verified or officially announced. That said, nothing leaked here sounds unlikely. Infinity Ward is certainly experimenting with a lot of multiplayer modes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. And all of these leaked modes have been popular in the past, or otherwise serve an important function. Infinity Ward definitely seems to be targeting competitive, diverse, and fast-paced multiplayer modes.

Expect more information on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Infinity Ward's multiplayer plans in the weeks ahead.
