Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now, and while it's not a perfect experience, many are having fun with the latest first-person shooter. As many would expect, the game has quite a few glitches and bugs that developer Infinity Ward is working on shoring up, such as one where Modern Warfare weapon charms are affect a weapon's accuracy. The latest to be circulated around the community involves a set of blue doors.
In multiplayer, it hasn't been uncommon for players to clip through walls, meaning a part of their person can be seen and shot despite being on the other side of the wall. This is simple enough to avoid while waiting for a fix, though players still need to exercise caution, and the latest exploit seemingly builds on this to a higher degree. In certain situations, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players can fully clip through a door to get a surprise kill on another player.
As seen below, players can go prone beside certain doors in order to crawl through and get a kill. It's worth noting that this exploit only works on the double blue doors, so in every other situation, it's not a cause for alarm. However, players in a building with double blue doors should best watch their back until this Call of Duty: Modern Warfare issue is fixed.
The good news is that Infinity Ward is well aware of the issue and is currently testing a fix for the exploit. This is something has seemingly been around with the beta, so a fix for it should come sooner rather than later. Given that Modern Warfare sales have smashed records, many will indubitably be waiting for it.
In our review of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, we noted that its campaign and multiplayer are so good that many of its shortcomings can simply be overlooked. What matters most, of course, is the fun factor, and despite the small bugs and glitches, it's a fun game.
