The Activision Games Blog's weekly briefings on what new content players can expect to see in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and other ongoing titles would likely not feel complete without the addition of new purchasable cosmetic items. Last week fans of the mainline first-person shooter and its battle royale spin-off Warzone were introduced to the Pyromaniac bundle and the Fire Claw 3 bundle inspired by Tiger King, and this week they'll be able to get their hands on new goodies for the playable operator Mace.

The "Mace: Guns Blazing" bundle can be purchased for 2,400 COD Points and includes a "Tombstone" skin for the Allegiance fighter, two Legendary weapon blueprints for the "Drawn and Quartered" and "Garrote" rifles, and an Epic knife called the "Coffin Nail." This bundle is also the first opportunity to purchase the ex-U.S. Ranger for those who missed Mace's first bundle back in February.

Beyond the more practical additions like weapons, Mace's new bundle also includes a number of cosmetic items like a gold-masked "Hangman" charm, a quip, and a new finishing move. These purchases will be available to use in both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone.

The Activision Games Blog post also goes into detail about various other things across the Call of Duty franchise, from introducing Call of Duty: Mobile's sixth season of content "Once Upon a Time in Rust" to detailing match times for the esports Call of Duty League. However, no doubt one of the most bizarre things fans can expect to see this week is a new anime-themed vehicle skin in Warzone.

Beyond that, the developers across different active Call of Duty titles are working on fixing issues and bugs. For example, players have been experiencing long matchmaking times in Modern Warfare and Warzone, there are issues with the current Battle Pass, and there are bugs that need to be ironed out before a Duos mode can be added into the battle royale Warzone.

On top of that, the developers have been listening to fans and are making tweaks to help make certain content easier to receive. There will soon be a change to the unlock requirements for the MK9 Bruen LMG, for example, which should make it easier for players to pick up the weapon while potentially donning their new Mace operator skin.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
