Even though Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is another a big hit for Activision, the game seemingly has a never ending list of bugs, glitches and exploits impacting the online experience. Over the past couple of months, players have been up against all sorts of issues like XP progression problems, map exploits, player collision issues, and more. While the studio continues to work on these issues, new ones are getting reported including a stealth killing bush.

The latest issue found and reported by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players is an odd bush located on the Port of Verdansk map when playing Ground War. Unfortunate for those who dared to run into it, the bush represents a kill zone, instantly killing anyone who enters. The bush itself is inconspicuous enough, though when running into it, the game claims the player was killed by a headshot, but no player was credited with the kill.

The issue was quickly picked up by Joel Emslie, who is the art director on Modern Warfare and also very active on sites like Reddit under the name artpeasent. He responded to the growing thread by confirming that he's tagged it and passed it to QA. What makes this issue problematic is that the bush is situated right next to a Main HQ spawn near point A on the map making it very easy to wander into by accident.

Thankfully, Infinity Ward is well aware of these reported issues. In an effort to keep fans updated on what the studio is working on and progress made on various issues, the studio launched a publicly-available Trello board last week alongside the January 10 update. The board itself details things like known issues, upcoming features, patch notes, and other important links. According to fans, this kill zone issue has been listed on the board since it launched and it has been reported numerous times by fans as far back as December. At this stage it appears to still be under investigation with no clear time frame for a fix.

Recently, players have discovered a few additional issues outside of the popular multiplayer modes including one glitch that can bring players back from the dead in Spec Ops. Essentially, when going into a downed by not out state, players have found that by grabbing a nearby enemy grenade and throwing it will result in their character being brought back as if they were revived. Unlike some of the other issues with the game, it's likely that most players won't mind if this one is placed lower on the fix list.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
