Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward's latest entry in the long-running FPS series, has been out for a few weeks now. Although the campaign is fairly short and linear, which is the norm for the series, depth and replayability can be found in the Trophies which add extra challenges to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's missions.

Hot Swap is one of these achievements, requiring players to get at least one kill with eight different weapons during Old Comrades, which we ranked at number 5 in our list of the best Modern Warfare missions. While this would be a breeze in many of Modern Warfare's longer, more expansive missions, Old Comrades's short length and St. Petersburg setting, limiting the weapons available, makes it more of a challenge. Here's our guide to the easiest way to get it done.

The Hideout

At the beginning of the mission players are offered a briefcase containing three silenced pistols, any of which are fine to grab. Unlike the We Own the Night Trophy, Hot Swap players won't be staying stealthy for long. After killing the guards in the alley, players should swap to one of their pistols, as long as it's different from the one they started with.

The Butcher can be found just inside the hideout, and will run as soon as the player engages his guards. Once the room is clear players should switch to a new pistol, most likely a 1911, or the Uzi belonging to the man closest to the door. The next room is slightly larger, and contains several enemies with varying weapon types. There's an MP7 on the snooker table, along with a Model 680 shotgun, both of which can be used to get a kill in the room if picked up quickly enough.

The Streets

Leaving the hideout through the kitchen, and swapping to the P90 carried by the man on the stairs, players should by now have used 5-6 of the eight weapons needed to complete the Trophy. After taking on the Butcher's reinforcements in the streets, hopefully avoiding collateral damage, make sure to grab one of their AK-47s for a kill and then one of their FN FALs, or vice versa depending on what comes first.

After a few street battles players will find themselves in an alleyway where there's a chance they can acquire a recently-nerfed 725 in order to finish off the Trophy. If it's not accessible then there are two weapons in the back of Nikolai's van, an M90 and an RPG-7, that can be used to get some easy kills during the team's escape.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
