Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has a total of 12 game modes (including the campaign and ranked modes). Out of these 12 game modes, two happen to be new additions to the game: Cyber Attack and Gunfight. It seems, however, that these game modes aren't the only ones Call of Duty has to offer.

A recent datamine of Modern Warfare on PC revealed that seemingly two more game modes have yet to be released. Apparently, the names of these modes are Gun Course, and Marksman Range.

The description that accompanies the Gun Course Call of Duty game mode claims that the objective of the mode is for players to make their way through a course as fast they can, shooting any enemy targets that they come across along the way. The caveat to this, however, is that players will also have to make sure they don't shoot any civilian targets in their rush to the finish line.

Marksman Range, on the other hand, currently has no available information. Going by the name of the mode and the image presented with it, however, one could make an educated guess. The game mode likely revolves around the player shooting down as many targets as they can before time runs out, aiming to rack up a high score. Or it could also just be a renamed version of the classic Firing Range mode, a mode that allows players to shoot and test whatever guns they want. Firing Range has appeared in other Call of Duty games before, including the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, so it's probably the more logical guess.

There's no telling when or even if these game modes will arrive. There were some other Call of Duty: Modern Warfare leaks that suggest these modes will be a part of a future DLC update. However, Infinity Ward hasn't confirmed anything just yet, and until it does, these could just be scrapped modes that didn't make the final cut.

Still, even if these new game modes don't arrive, Call of Duty fans have other modes to lean back on. Gunfight happens to be a really popular mode among players, offering tense, action-packed, 2v2 fights that stress teamwork to achieve success due to the inability to revive. And Cyber Attack puts an interesting twist on the classic Search and Destroy game mode by allowing players to revive their lesser teammates a limited number of times, making the game an effective opposite of Gunfight.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
