One of the most iconic characters in the Call of Duty franchise is Simon Riley, otherwise known as Ghost. The British operative made his debut in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and instantly became a beloved character throughout the campaign. Ghost is also one of the most recognizable characters with his skull balaclava and dark glasses. One Call of Duty fan has revealed a cosplay of Ghost that is truly impressive.

Ghost is most known for Modern Warfare 2, but also is available as a skin for the newer Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. A Ghost skin was added and even a small change to his look in Modern Warfare got some mixed feedback. The only difference is that the updated character has a more solid skull mask instead of the balaclava, which some fans found to be not as practical for military actions. However, the solid skull mask creates an intimating look with Ghost's eyes being visible.

The cosplayer, "Alak87", recreated the Ghost look from the new Modern Warfare. Although the original Ghost skin was later added in season 3, the updated Ghost makes for a challenging cosplay. "Alak87" pulls of the incredible cosplay with a realistic skull mask and even adds the two stripes of paint that go from his head down to the skull.

Another impressive aspect of the outfit is the camouflage pants and beige kneepads that Ghost is seen wearing. However, the best part of the cosplay isn't the rifle he is holding, or the two handguns expertly placed in his vest and holster on the hip, but the cape draped across his neck. The cape appears to be just a brown curtain, but the use of household items is what can make some cosplays so impressive.

It is not as common to see cosplays of Call of Duty, mainly because there are not as many iconic characters as some franchises, and military garb can get pretty expensive. However, when fans do cosplay as Call of Duty characters, they go all out, just as "Alak87" did with the immaculate details of his outfit. Even though Modern Warfare season 4 has been delayed, it is likely that Captain Price will be added as a skin, meaning it is possible another impressive cosplay will be revealed by a fan.

Call of Duty has a ton of content scheduled for upcoming release including season 4 of Modern Warfare and an announcement regarding the new Call of Duty that is rumored to be based on the Cold War. While fans wait on the new content, some fans may be gearing up for some Cold War outfits to cosplay in.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
