The new Games of Summer event will allow Modern Warfare and Warzone fans to represent their home country for the first time in franchise history. Each of the challenges reward medals that will rank on an international board. By earning these medals players can provide which country holds the best Operators in the world. To earn medals players must complete five Trials. Each of these are small timed experiences and players will have unlimited attempts to try and score Gold in each challenge. Trials will be available to both Modern Warfare and Warzone fans allowing Games of Summer entry in each game. Similar to Call of Duty: Mobile's Days of Summer event, players will receive in-game rewards for completing each of the varying trials.

Trial 1: Gun Course ( August 28)

The first trial launches players into a small Custom Gun Course map. Players will have to make their way through the course as fast as possible gunning down enemy targets and avoiding civilian casualties. This is similar to the Gun Course already built into the game, but fans can expect a different route and possibly a harder challenge. Loadout will include assorted weapons and Medals are awarded as follows:

Bronze - 01:30:00 / Silver - 01:00:00 / Gold - 00:40:00

Trial 2: Price's Alley  (August 29)

The second challenge takes the name of the legendary Operator Price and places players on Price's Custom Alley Map. Players are being challenged to eliminate an endless series of enemies while avoiding civilian targets. The goal is to maintain the combo for as long as possible and continuously ramp up the score. For an added challenge, player loadouts are restricted to only the Renetti handgun. Medals are awarded as follows:

Bronze - 4,000 / Silver - 5,000 / Gold - 6,000

Trial 3: Risky Parkour (August 30)

On the third day of these trials, players will enter Livestock where they must parkour at high speeds across the map. Move through each checkpoint and avoid the heavy toxic gas on the ground below. Fans can think of this as an intense version of "the floor is lava," but across an entire farm. The loadout will be restricted to only a Combat Knife, allowing fans the fastest move speed possible. Medals are awarded as follows:

Bronze - 00:55:00 / Silver - 00:47:00 / Gold - 00:40:00

Trial 4: Shooting Range ( August 31)

The fourth trial challenges players on a new Shooting Range challenge set on the map King. Players are tasked with locating and shooting all the targets as quickly as possible while conserving their limited ammunition. Loadout will be assorted weapons and players can earn Medals as follows:

Bronze - 00:50:00 / Silver - 00:40:00 / Gold - 00:30:00

Trial 5: Marksman Challenge (September 1)

The fifth and last challenge is a Marksman Challenge set on a custom Marksman map. Players will need to take down long-distance targets and try to beat the clock. Time is sacrificed with every missed shot so be sure to have a steady aim while gunning down incoming enemies. Accuracy is the core of this challenge, so there will not be civilians in the way of player's shots. Loadout will include the HDR rifle and Medals are awarded as follows:

Bronze - 3,400 / Silver - 3,900 / Gold - 4,400

Players will be rewarded based on their participation and performance in each trial. Each reward stacks so players can earn all three in a single go by scoring gold. Each Trial medal will reward players with vehicle skins, XP tokens, vehicle horns, calling cards, and legendary weapon blueprints. Players are rewarded a Games of Summer Cup weapon charm for participation so everyone leaves with a prize no matter the result.

Players who earn gold in every trial will receive the Legendary Assault Rifle Juliet Blueprint. This weapon is designed for prevision and for many players is considered the "Gold Standard" in competitive play. In addition to these awards, players will also be contributing to their respective countries base on their Activision account's origin. The top 15 countries will all be visible on the in-game leaderboard allowing all fans to see which countries are ranked among the best.
