In its weekly Call of Duty Briefing today, the Activision Games Blog revealed a number of things coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Among them are a Gunsmith Customs feature, Obsidian weapon camo, and three store bundles including one that unlocks a Legendary SMG called 'By the Toe.'

The By the Toe SMG is part of the "Fire Claw III" bundle according to the Activision Games Blog, and will be available "later this week." It is a distinctly designed weapon, one with a red-and-orange gradient paint job interspersed with tiger stripes and a full tiger's face near the ammunition clip. Those who buy the bundle in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will also receive a "crown-themed spray" and a "tiger-themed charm."

The previous two Fire Claw bundles released with similar groups of items for players to customize their Operators with, and each cost 1,000 COD Points. Another bundle releasing alongside Fire Claw III is the Pyromaniac bundle that features a skin for Krueger with a similar red color scheme to the tiger-themed SMG. The Activision Games Blog specifies that the Pyromaniac bundle can be used with Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone, but the same is not said for Fire Claw III.

The weekly blog post covers news across all currently operating Call of Duty games, including Call of Duty: Mobile. That game is particularly active this week between the start of its 2020 World Championship tournament in collaboration with Sony Mobile, as well as the addition of fan-favorite Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map Rust.

Activision also spends a fair amount of time focusing on its esports Call of Duty League (CLD), which has continued to see events even while much of the world self-quarantines due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has shut down schools, businesses, and more. Over the weekend the Dallas Empire won the Chicago Home Series, and became the first in the CDL team to win two events.

While all of these things have been going on, Activision and Infinity Ward are also focused on fixing up their ongoing titles. Modern Warfare will see a substantial update tomorrow that will address all matter of bugs, so players should be ready to let that go through before they get the chance to have fun with their 'By the Toe' SMG.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
