Typically, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare updates only come once a week, but this week is an exception to the rule. Infinity Ward released a Modern Warfare playlist update on April 21, but on April 22, it released a new patch that fixes a popular exploit players have been using in the game, as well as addresses some of other bugs that players have been dealing with in both the standard multiplayer and Warzone.

The new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is rolling out to all platforms now, and the main thing it does is fix the bug that lets players equip weapon attachments that they haven't unlocked. Players were able to do this using an exploit in the GameBattles mode that allowed them to get attachments in both standard multiplayer and Warzone without having to put in the work to earn them. While this seems relatively harmless, it isn't really fair to the players who did the grinding necessary to get all the attachments.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare April 22 update also fixes an audio bug with the Renetti handgun. The update also fixes the Warzone invincibility glitch, along with a glitch that made two wrist watches appear for those using the CTSFO 1 Mil-Sim Operator.

Infinity Ward has been pretty consistent when it comes to releasing updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, with the game regularly receiving bug fixes, playlist updates, and more. Looking ahead, there's a lot more for fans of the first-person shooter to look forward to, as Modern Warfare Season 3 promises to add even more content to the game.

The Modern Warfare Season 3 road map promises at least one more new weapon for players before the season is over, not to mention another new playable multiplayer operator. There may be even more for fans to look forward to as well that has yet to be announced, so it will be exciting to see how the game continues to expand in the coming weeks.

Eventually, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 3 will conclude and be replaced by Modern Warfare Season 4. Season updates for Modern Warfare tend to add the most new content at once, so fans should stay tuned for more information.
