However, Aniyah Palace isn't a Ground War map; it's actually just a standard multiplayer map.
This strange post could be interpreted as someone from Infinity Ward putting in their opinion that Aniyah Palace is too big for standard multiplayer, though there's nothing to back that up. Alternatively, it could be an indication that Aniyah Palace was once intended to be a Ground War map, only for plans to change by the time Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched. It's also possible that this is just an error.
Error or not, this isn't the first questionable Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Message of the Day post that has caught some attention. Recently, a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Message of the Day promoted the PS4-exclusive Spec Ops Survival mode to PC and Xbox One players. Since those on PC and Xbox One can't access Spec Ops Survival, this seemed to be a bit strange, and some speculated that it was sent to players on those platforms on accident.
