There are some balance issues when it comes to the weapons in the recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. One weapon in particular has been singled out by the community to be particularly overpowered, and that's the 725 shotgun. With the right attachments equipped, the 725 shotgun becomes arguably the most devastating weapon in the entire game, with players able to utilize it at ranges that would usually require a sniper rifle.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players have started uploading clips of themselves pulling off ridiculous shots with the 725 shotgun. Typically these shots are pulled off from especially long distances, with players able to get a kill with the 725 shotgun from far away with just a single shot. It's highly unlikely that Infinity Ward intended for the 725 shotgun to be used in this manner, and so a patch will address the problem sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare fans have started incorporating the 725 shotgun into some of the most overpowered loadouts that they can put together for the game. One particularly OP Modern Warfare loadout combines the 725 shotgun with the Riot Shield and other overpowered weapons like the claymore to give players a significant advantage in the game's online battlefields.

Infinity Ward has yet to acknowledge the 725 shotgun issues, though as previously stated, fans can expect it to be patched soon. The 1.06 update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare already addressed a number of issues with the game, like problems with footsteps being too loud and a weapon charm glitch that made screwed up players' aim when firing from the hip.

However, there are still bugs and other technical issues for Infinity Ward to squash with future patches. Besides the aforementioned balance fixes needed for weapons like the 725 shotgun, there is also a recoil bug impacting a few weapons in the game. This bug makes it so players become significantly less accurate when crouched, when they're actually supposed to become more accurate when crouched.

It's possible that the next Call of Duty: Modern Warfare update will also add some of the leaked game modes that have been discovered in datamines, but that remains to be seen.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
