A few days ago, popular YouTuber Chaos posted supposedly leaked information on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which is expected to be this year's Call of Duty game. The "leak" contained information on various game modes that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will bring to the table, including details on what its battle royale mode will have in store.

If the rumors are to be believed, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will follow Black Ops 4's lead and have its very own battle royale mode. And also like Black Ops 4Modern Warfare 4's battle royale mode will feature popular characters from Infinity Ward's games as playable characters. So where Black Ops 4 had characters like Reznov and Mason in its Blackout battle royale mode, Modern Warfare 4's battle royale mode may have Captain Price, Ghost, and Soap as playable characters instead.

Modern Warfare 4's battle royale map is said to be around the same size as the Blackout battle royale map, but there will be one big difference. According to the rumors, 45% of Modern Warfare 4's battle royale map will be covered in snow, perhaps suggesting that the game will take place in mountainous regions. If so, the snowmobile vehicles said to be added in Modern Warfare 4's battle royale mode will surely come in handy.

If this leaked information on Modern Warfare 4 is accurate, then it would make some sense for the battle royale map to feature a snowy region. After all, it's been rumored that the Modern Warfare 4 campaign is a remaster of Modern Warfare 2, and one of that game's most famous levels took place in a snowy environment.

Of course, Call of Duty fans should take this information with a massive grain of salt. There is absolutely no corroborating evidence that any of it is true, beyond the notion that 2019's Call of Duty is Modern Warfare 4. It's true that we've already had hints that Modern Warfare 4 is coming this year, but whether or not it features any of the content rumored for it remains to be seen.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is rumored to be in development for unspecified platforms.
