Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is experiencing some negative feedback from players that are frustrated with the game's UI, like one fan that has made a video compiling many examples of the UI being not particularly user-friendly. Of course, when any game comes out, there are sure to be a few mishaps here and there, but many fans had high hopes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, so their frustration with certain issues and bugs is increasing daily.

The User-Interface of a game is always an interesting issue because, though it isn't truly the focus of any game, it still has a large impact on gameplay and how players are able to interact with the game. For example, though people are having relatively positive experiences with it, Gotham Knights' UI is unimpressive for a lot of players who hoped it would look and feel more detailed and nuanced than a mobile game.

Redditor FeelsMoxxiMan posts a video that highlights all their frustrations with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's UI issues. They report that the UI isn't just aesthetically displeasing, but it also has functional issues that inhibit players from interacting with the game to any sort of decent degree. Scroll bars are broken and sometimes will not function when they are clicked on. Players need to memorize camo styles out of 186 different options because the UI doesn't allow them to go directly back to something they were looking at. Infinity Ward addressed some Modern Warfare 2 UI issues last month, but it seems like the game is still experiencing several problems.

FeelsMoxxiMan goes on to point out more frustrating details about the game's UI, like how some boxes are misaligned by just enough pixels to make them seem a bit off. Also, clicking on the receiver in the gunsmith will sometimes completely just kick the player out of the gunsmith UI. These little issues are why Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players are calling for UI changes across the board. They may be small issues, but they accumulate into frustrating interactions with the game that the players are supposed to be enjoying.

Players really enjoy UI updates, like when Xbox updated its Dashboard UI to include more features and be more user-friendly in different ways. So, many are hoping that Infinity Ward will make note of the complaints that players are having with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's UI and start implementing some changes as soon as possible.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
