It looks like one of the largest gaming franchises in history is successful on all platforms. Call of Duty: Mobile just celebrated its first full year, and the results appear to be impressive. The mobile game made almost half a billion dollars in the last year, with nearly half of that from the U.S. alone. It looks like Call of Duty: Mobile is doing well for itself and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.

According to the numbers, Call of Duty: Mobile made $480 million dollars between October 1, 2019 and September 30, 2020. $215 million of that came from just the U.S. playerbase. These totals put the game at third in overall revenue, with Fortnite barely beating it and PUBG Mobile beating them both. It looks like that isn’t the only milestone the game hit, as Call of Duty: Mobile reached 100 billion hours played monthly and 270 million total downloads.

It seems the mobile giant isn’t slowing down yet, as Season 11 is on its way for players. The next season will feature new weapons alongside the Advanced UAV scorestreak from other titles. With Season 6 currently underway for Modern Warfare and Warzone players, it looks like fans have plenty of Call of Duty on all fronts right now.

One major piece that can increase the mobile game’s numbers even more is the addition of Warzone. While the game has its own Battle Royale mode, the likely rumors that Warzone is coming to phones would allow players to keep their progress and not have to divide their efforts between two separate game modes. Since Black Ops Cold War will be sharing Warzone with Modern Warfare, this would allow players to play the same battle royale across three different games and several different platforms.

Call of Duty: Mobile looks to be standing out from its console counterparts as well if the rumors are true. A developer hinted on Reddit that there are plans for a night mode in Call of Duty: Mobile. This feature has been requested for years, and it would be a big boost for the mobile game if it got night mode before current console titles.

Players haven plenty to work on in Mobile right now. Season 11 promises a return of the Standoff fan-favorite map as well as plenty of new weapons. The map comes with a twist, as the Call of Duty: Mobile Halloween event promises to bring a spooky version of it to the game. With all of the upcoming additions to the mobile title, Call of Duty: Mobile may be hitting more milestones in no time.

Call of Duty: Mobile is available now on Android and iOS.
