Activision Blizzard's free-to-play Call of Duty Mobile is entering Season 5, and it has just confirmed that the season has a tropical theme incorporated in various ways. This includes a tropical map, weapon blueprints, weapon charms, seasonal challenges, a themed event, and more joining Call of Duty Mobile soon.

Call of Duty Mobile Season 4 Wild Dogs featured many returning faces from previous titles in the Call of Duty franchise, such as Roach and Farah in its Battle Pass, and Season 5 is touting a primarily female cast of characters. The new map coming to Call of Duty Mobile with the latest season being dubbed "Tropical Vision" is a fan favorite one from an older Call of Duty title in which players will run through the jungle to slay enemy soldiers.

Apocalypse from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War joins the Call of Duty Mobile map rotation with Season 5 Tropical Vision, and it follows a three-lane structure through enclosed and open spaces. Call of Duty Mobile is also getting a new game mode with Tropical Vision known as Guns Blazing Encore that will turn players who fill a Fury gauge into a super-soldier with dual Death Machines and increased health. The goal of Guns Blazing Encore is to be the first Call of Duty Mobile player to earn 30 points, with normal kills earning one point and super-soldier kills counting for three points.

Call of Duty Mobile has confirmed its Battle Pass for Tropical Vision will include items of varying value, with most things being part of the Premium pass. Some weapons that will be unlocked through progressing in the Battle Pass are the Tiki Troops shotgun, Oden assault rifle, and Echo Grenade, and there will be Blueprints for the AK-47, MSMC, PKM, and Kilo bolt-action sniper rifle. Players that want to see another side of the iconic Call of Duty character Soap can earn his Vacay Ready Operator skin by completing Flood Team Bravo event tasks through Multiplayer and Battle Royale.

While many Call of Duty Mobile fans have celebrated what's coming to the free-to-play FPS with Season 5 Tropical Vision, others lamented a missing Tournament mode, Ranked matchmaking being problematic, and some weapon nerfs. Considering the fact that Apocalypse is a classic Call of Duty map with a jungle theme, it's fitting that Activision Blizzard is including all sorts of other free and paid tropical items throughout Season 5. Season 5 Tropical Vision launches on June 1, leaving Call of Duty Mobile players with only a couple of days to finish their Season 4 Battle Pass.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now for Android and iOS.
