In solidarity with Black Lives Matter protests and demonstrations across the United States and around the world, Activision announced it would delay Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 last week. The company also delayed Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7, but whenever the "Radioactive Agent" content finally releases, fans can look forward to getting their hands on two new unique skins for the playable operators Ghost and Krueger.

These skins, transforming the characters into "Hazmat" Ghost and "Alchemist" Krueger, notably transform the already face-covering soldiers into ones with protection from the toxic "gas" that will clearly headline Season 7 as a major mechanic in Call of Duty: Mobile. They were revealed by the Southeast Asian game publishing company Garena on Instagram before the delays, so it is still unknown when this new content will be available.

That said, there is more information available online as to what players can expect to see when Season 7 releases. For instance, developer TiMi Studios revealed the mobile battle royale map will have seven new locations with this upcoming season, including a black market, downtown cityscape, and a number of places in frigid northern territories.

The official Call of Duty: Mobile Twitter account has also recently confirmed that the Gulag map from Call of Duty: Warzone will be coming to the mobile title, which would make sense as an extension to the game alongside a revamped battle royale mode with more sections of the map available. In fact, the idea that Season 7 will focus on radioactive agents and toxic gas also tracks with more mechanics possibly being implemented from Warzone.

In lieu of dropping this new content for players, Activision and the various companies responsible for developing the concurrent Call of Duty titles have spent some time addressing ongoing social movements by trying to make positive changes in their games. For example, Infinity Ward has announced it will work on implementing more systems to combat racist and hateful usernames when matchmaking in Modern Warfare and Warzone, and Black Lives Matter messages appear before every game in Modern Warfare.

Even with these delays for good causes, players should be happy to see additions like alternate costumes once Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 drops. Ghost in particular is a popular character for the series, as evidenced by a fan CoD cosplay uploaded to Reddit this week.

Call of Duty Mobile is available on iOS and Android devices.
