Call of Duty: Mobile is gaining a new battle royale game mode with the launch of its new season. As Call of Duty: Mobile moves into Season 1, fans expect fresh and revised content to populate their game quickly. While most expected new guns and maps, a new battle royale game mode was a surprise.
The season reset is expected to refresh the Call of Duty: Mobile experience. Fans can enjoy the new content with the expectation that the game can continue to improve and evolve as the season count rises. Seeing as Call of Duty: Mobile acts as a melting pot of titles, anything could be coming in the future of this mobile shooter.
The new Call of Duty: Mobile game mode is one that Call of Duty: Warzone fans are familiar with. Titled "Blitz," this game mode drops players into a restrictive and smaller zone randomly decided on the map. This game mode allows for a battle royale experience to be enjoyed on a smaller battlefield, allowing for shorter games and more action-packed encounters. Further, this new game mode will have a faster zone and with players dropping into a concentrated area, getting geared up becomes a tactical challenge for even the veteran battle royale player. Do note that Blitz does reduce the total amount of players down to only 40 instead of the traditional 100 player match.
Blitz is not the only new game mode headed to Call of Duty: Mobile, as fans expect Attack of the Undead 20 to make an appearance. This game mode will be an improved version of the same experience released last year, and now it will contain 20 players.
Also, two new weapons have been confirmed for Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1. Players will be able to use the FR. 556 burst assault rifle along with the SKS marksman rifle. These two weapons should be making an appearance in both the multiplayer and battle royale circles once Season 1 is fully underway.
Call of Duty: Mobile is also set to receive an exclusive map just for its mobile community. Reclaim is an abandoned marketplace in an abandoned city, and players will get to battle it out in various game modes in the next season of content. While there are sure to be even more surprises, there seems to be something in this new season for every type of mobile player.
