The developers of Call of Duty: Mobile announced that a popular Modern Warfare 2 map will be coming soon to the game. The mobile game will be seeing the fan-favorite Highrise map return to the franchise in the near future.

Call of Duty: Mobile is currently on Season 7, though there was initially a delay due to political and racial tensions in the United States. While the wait for fans is now over, the developers are continuing to add new content to the game even after the new season launch about a week ago.

The Official Call of Duty: Mobile Twitter account posted an image of the popular map on the social media site, adding that it would be coming soon to the game. The map had previously been a part of Modern Warfare 2, and other maps from that game have done well in the mobile game's previous seasons like Rust and Scrapyard. Previous leaks had at Highrise coming to the mobile game, but this Tweet from the official account confirms what fans were hoping for. While the announcement is official, there is no specified date when fans can expect to see this in the mobile game.

Fans are excited with this development as this was a fan-favorite in Modern Warfare 2. With the tall buildings and crane overlooking the main area in the map, players were able to execute complex trickshots. While fans can't be sure if these locations will be accessible when the Call of Duty map is adapted for the mobile game, they are excited at the possibility of scaling the skyscraper that is pictured in the Call of Duty: Mobile Tweet.

While fans are waiting for the new map in Call of Duty: Mobile, some are hoping that this signals the return of this map to Modern Warfare as well. With Call of Duty's Season 4 getting underway in Modern Warfare and Warzone, it wouldn't be entirely implausible to see this added as part of an update to the game. However, fans will need to get their Highrise content from the mobile FPS after it launches, at least for the time being.
