Call of Duty Mobile has seen consistent updates that bring back fan favorite features from past CoD games, and the next season of content for the mobile game will be doing it once again. Rather than a map or mode, however, Call of Duty Mobile season 11 will feature the return of a popular scorestreak.

While Call of Duty’s popular battle royale mode Warzone was recently leaked for mobile devices, the CoD mobile team has been hard at work keeping the game’s current battle royale fun to play. Multiplayer modes on the mobile game have also gotten plenty of love from the developers, and now it is looking like scorestreaks are the next area to get a big addition. The team has teased the return of the Advanced UAV, but interestingly, a fan had the idea first.

While some CoD Mobile players gathered the Hunt For Makarov event rewards, reddit user bigggbot67 was hard at work on a mockup of what the advanced UAV could look like. The user set the point value for the streak at 900 points, triple the cost of a regular UAV. First introduced in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops under the name Blackbird, the Advanced UAV shows all enemy players on the mini-map and what direction they are facing for a short time. While bigggbot67 did not set a time for the scorestreak, it can be assumed that it would last around a minute.

The most interesting part of the well-made post is the top comment, however. The developers took a break from updating CoD Mobile’s Gunfight mode to reply to the reddit user, continuing the trend of open communication seen between fans and the studio thus far. The official developer account for Call of Duty Mobile shared that the creator of the post is “unquestionably going to like the next scorestreak releasing in season 11.” This comment all but confirms that an Advanced UAV is on the way to Call of Duty Mobile, and it seems as if it is only a few weeks away.

Incorporating an Advanced UAV into CoD should be a welcome addition for many old school fans, as the streak has proved to be a popular choice regardless of which game it appears in. Perhaps Treyarch will follow suit and add one to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, a move that would certainly please many fans. With the traditional mini-map returning to Black Ops Cold War, the streak seems like a perfect fit for the game. Regardless of whether it comes, though, CoD Mobile fans will be able to help the team out with Advanced UAVs in just a few weeks.

Other season 11 additions to the game have been teased, including a night version of CoD Mobile’s battle royale map. There are likely more surprises in store for the next season of Call of Duty Mobile content, so fans should certainly be excited for the game’s next big update.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now on Android and iOS mobile devices.
