A livestream video for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's forthcoming Zombies in Spaceland surfaces online, displaying more than 20 minutes of gameplay for the mode.

Now that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfarfans are almost assuredly setting aside storage space on their respective platforms and pre-loading the first-person shooter's rather large file sizes, many of those gamers are surely champing at the bit and ready to try out all that the forthcoming title has to offer. As of now, would-be soldiers who pre-ordered either the game's Legacy or Digital Deluxe Edition can play Modern Warfare Remastered's campaign, but there may be some fans who want to know more about the release's Zombies mode.

Thankfully, for those who want to get a heaping helping of undead action, a livestream video of the title's Zombies in Spaceland has surfaced online, showing off nearly 26 full minutes of gameplay for the mode. As one would expect, there's plenty of fast-paced fighting, gruesome gunplay, and supernatural surprises to be had within this specific co-op mode for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as fans are going to be tasked with surviving against hordes of the walking dead.

As seen in the recorded livestream video below courtesy of GamersPrey HD, the footage for Infinite Warfare's Zombies in Spaceland begins with the opening cut-scene that explains the mode's backstory, detailing how the four main characters ended up battling the undead. As the footage plays out, a handful of developers from Infinity Ward discuss the mode's ATM system, which lets players store their earnings so as to not lose them when they die.

Furthermore, the afterlife feature for Infinite Warfare's Zombies in Spaceland is also broken down, with the Infinity Ward devs explaining that it wanted to make it so that players weren't simply spectating after being killed. Not to mention, some of the enemy types in the mode are touched on, and fans are given a better idea at how to utilize the mode's traps more effectively.

As has been the case with previous entries in the Call of Duty franchise, aside from the online multiplayer feature and its particular styles of gameplay, the Zombies mode often proves to be one of the most popular aspects of the title, with players spending loads of time scouring for Easter eggs. Of course, Zombies in Spaceland is Infinity Ward's take on the experience, so it will more than likely differ somewhat from previous outings.

Naturally, the gameplay video above for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Zombies in Spaceland doesn't provide a complete look at what one might expect from the mode, as Infinity Ward doesn't want to completely tip its hand. Bearing this in mind, should fans wish to get a little bit more information about the studio's version of the popular feature before it releases this Friday, they can do so by checking out our impression of it from a hands-on perspective.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is set to release on November 4, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
